Thunderstorm over the PlainsLightning live wallpaper
A great shelf of storm cloud rolls over open farmland at dusk, with the last amber light glowing under it and grey rain sweeping across the plain. Lightning forks down to the ground and lights the clouds from inside, the wind pump by the farmhouse spins and the grass bends in the gusts.

About this wallpaper
Thunderstorm over the Plains is a dramatic, stormy and electric moving wallpaper in the Landscapes and Rain collections, added to Lullpane on 2 November 2026.
Like every Lullpane wallpaper it is drawn in code rather than filmed or generated: the scene is a small program that returns to its first frame every 12 seconds, so the loop never jumps.
The same scene is saved as an iPhone Live Photo, an Android video, a phone still, a desktop still and 4K loops for Mac and Windows, each in the downloads above.
Lullpane stays free. If this one made your screen nicer, buy us a coffee on Ko-fi.
